The rear dump semi-trailer is a specialized heavy vehicle designed for the high-efficiency transfer of bulk materials. Under standard conditions, the cargo volume can reach up to 45 cubic meters, and for non-standard customizations, it can even reach 65 cubic meters, highlighting its outstanding loading capacity. The cargo body features a unique design that is narrower at the front and wider at the rear. This facilitates rapid gravity-assisted unloading, minimizes material residue, and effectively reduces the risk of rollover during driving and unloading in complex environments like mines and construction sites. Some models are also equipped with anti-clogging structures to further enhance operational convenience. The chassis typically features a three-axle design, with wheelbase adjustable according to requirements, paired with durable tires in specifications such as 11.00R20, ensuring driving stability and adaptability to various road conditions.

The working principle of the rear dump semi-trailer is simple and efficient, relying on a mature hydraulic lifting system for automated unloading without manual assistance. During operation, the engine drives the hydraulic pump via the transmission and power take-off (PTO), delivering high-pressure oil to the lifting hydraulic cylinders. This pushes the piston rods to slowly tilt the rear of the cargo body upwards. The cargo slides down rapidly due to gravity, with a single unloading cycle taking only 30 seconds to 5 minutes. Compared to traditional manual unloading methods, efficiency is improved dozens of times over, significantly saving labor costs. After unloading, the control system directs the hydraulic oil to return, allowing the cargo body to lower smoothly and safely. Operation is convenient and reliable. Additionally, some models feature anti-deflection designs for the lifting cylinders, ensuring long-term stability and preventing operational delays caused by cylinder failure.


In terms of application scenarios, the rear dump semi-trailer exhibits strong adaptability and serves as a "capable assistant" in infrastructure projects and mine transportation. It efficiently transports various bulk materials like sand, gravel, coal, ore, and earth. The development of new energy models responds to the "carbon peak and neutrality" goals. By utilizing ultra-high-strength steel, aluminum alloys, and stainless steel in hybrid structures, tare weight is reduced by 15%-20%. Paired with low-resistance suspension systems, this alleviates the range anxiety associated with electric tractors. Some companies have also introduced combined solutions like "battery-swapping tractors + lightweight semi-trailers," suitable for high-frequency transport on fixed routes.
